Milan Design Week is back and we are committed to ensuring it is not only an inspiring experience, but also a safe one for visitors to our showroom

Salvatori has your safety at heart during Milan Design Week 2021

We are delighted to be welcoming visitors back as part of Milan Design Week 2021, but at the same time we are of course very aware that we are living in particular times and health precautions are an absolute priority.

To ensure the safety of both visitors to our showroom and our staff, we have introduced a series of guidelines in accordance with the anti-Covid regulations currently in force in Italy.

If you are planning to visit us, we wanted to let you know in advance of what you can expect to find in terms of safety precautions.

Admission to our showroom

As prescribed by the Italian legislative decree issued on 6 August 2021, you must be registered to visit our showroom (please click here to register if you have not yet done so). Furthermore, all visitors must be in possession of a Green Pass which certifies that you have had at least one dose of a Covid vaccine or have had a negative Covid test result within 48 hours of your visit or have recovered from Covid 19 within the past 6 months.

If you are from a non-EU country and therefore do not have a Green Pass, you will need to provide proof of your Covid status (vaccination, negative test or recently recovered). If this is not in English or Italian, you will need to provide a certified translation in either of these languages.

Your temperature will be measured at the entrance and unfortunately, if it is above 37.5° you will not be able to enter.

Please note that the personal information you provide us at the time of registering, whether pre-event or immediately prior to visiting the showroom, will be held for 14 days only.

Managed traffic flow inside the showroom

Once you enter our showroom, you will find ushers, security staff and a series of notices to help direct the flow of visitors and ensure a safe distance is maintained between groups and individuals.

We kindly ask you to respect the signs indicating a minimum distance of one metre between visitors (unless they belong to a single household). These also display the direction to follow so that you can experience all the various spaces and sets on show.

We have implemented a one-way traffic system, meaning you will enter through one door and leave via another.

Maximum capacity

The maximum capacity of the entire showroom at any time is 75 people, including the terrace which can hold no more than 15.

To ensure we avoid overcrowding and can maintain a safe distance as described above, once the limit of 15 or 75 has been reached, we will operate a “one in, one out” system, which means we will ask you to kindly wait at the entrance.

To ensure as many people as possible can visit, we are imposing a maximum duration of 45 minutes in the showroom.

Other preventative measures

In addition to the measures outlined above, we ask all visitors to wear a mask for the entire time they are in the showroom. Unfortunately, anyone not wearing one will not be permitted to enter.

Sanitising gel will be available and we kindly ask you to make use of it.

We know that this year’s edition of Milan Design Week is a little out of the ordinary and we will all need to be mindful about hygiene and crowding. We are sure you understand the reasons behind the measures we are taking, and ask for your patience and understanding, especially if you find yourself waiting a little longer than usual.

We are committed to creating an inspiring but safe environment so that you can simply focus on enjoying our new products and displays. At the end of the day, we are just thrilled to finally be able to engage in person with other design lovers, and we are sure that despite the exceptional measure, it will still be an incredible event.
