Product description
A rich chocolatey limestone, Pietra d’Avola is a dark, elegant stone that can vary in shade from greyish-brown to almost black. Its intense shade makes it ideal for a wide range of uses, from large-scale interior projects to small accessories.
Among Pietra d’Avola’s most distinctive characteristics are the whitish lines and splashes of colour which arise as a result of the quartz contained in the stone. Occasional yellowish marks may also be found.
A hardwearing stone, it is suitable for both interior and exterior usage, along with areas where it may be subjected to high foot traffic.
This sample combines Pietra d’Avola with our
honed finish.
Honed is the most classic and simple of our textures. We simply buff the surface to a semi-matt finish with the slightest of sheens, allowing the essential characteristics of the stone to come to the fore.
