Rain texture.
Rain is a continuation of Piero Lissoni’s explorations into Japanese design. This elegant texture which spring from his longstanding fascination with the Orient is formed of a rhythmic pattern of vertical lines that bring to mind tall forests of bamboo.
“When designing Rain, my mind led me to the bamboo forests of Japan. I thought of the trunk of a bamboo, magnified for effect and repeated.”
The result is a texture which brings a palpable sense of calm and harmony to any environment it graces.
