Carré

Designer Piero Lissoni set about trying to emulate an age-old technique in which ancient stones were etched with lines so that they would become less slippery. The result is Carré, with its network of criss-crossing incisions creating an irregular diamond pattern that makes not only for an unusual, elegant vertical surface, but also an ideal floor in a bathroom, patio or round a pool.
