For routine maintenance of the surfaces, always use neutral cleansers (for example, FILACLEANER or neutral soap). Do not in any case use harsh products that could irreparably damage the surface of the stone (such as acids or descaling products).
We strongly recommend that you do not place hot objects such as kettles or pans directly onto natural stone as it may cause discolouration or staining.
If your stone is exposed to “hard water” where there is a high mineral content, you will need to take a little extra care as the cleaning properties of the FILACLEANER or neutral detergent will be weakened. You will therefore need to use these products a little more frequently so that soap scum, lime scale and the like do not have the chance to build up and congeal.
Delivery The majority of products in our Walls & Floors and Bathroom collections are produced to order. Whilst this means a highly personalised product, it also requires additional time for production, quality control and bespoke packing. Delivery times are indicated on our website alongside the product. These are shown as a minimum-maximum indication and take into account production times and destination. If your order is made up of a number of products which require different amounts of time to produce, we may send items out at different times or all together, but we will advise you of this. For all items ordered from our Walls & Floors or Bathroom collections our delivery procedure is as follows: 1. We will send you an email confirming your order and we will organise delivery with one of our various shipping partners, depending on your location. 2. Once the shipping company collects your order from our premises in Tuscany, we will send you an email confirming this and we will provide you with contact details for the shipping company. 3. Our shipping partner will then contact you to organise the date your order will be delivered to the delivery address you specified at the time you placed your order. Delivery is intended to mean at street level and unless otherwise indicated, will take place from Monday to Friday during normal business hours (from 9 am to 6pm), excluding public holidays. Crema d’Orcia is a warm, pale and intense limestone, exclusive to Salvatori, that transmits a sensation of unexpected softness.
With its inclusions of fossil traces and reddish lines of saline, it is the perfect example of the concept of “the beauty of imperfections”. At first glance these “blemishes” could be considered flaws, but they are simply intrinsic elements of the stone, and testimony to its thousands of years of history.
This incredible limestone turns conceptions of stone as a rigid and cold material on their head with its gentle, beguiling tones. ASethetics, it is also extremely hardwearing and easy to look after.
For routine maintenance of the surfaces, always use neutral cleansers (for example, FILACLEANER or neutral soap). Do not in any case use harsh products that could irreparably damage the surface of the stone (such as acids or descaling products).

You will often see small holes, the occasional shell-shaped fossil and tiny lines of pink quartz.
These are not defects, but instead are part of the layers of history of each block of Crema d’Orcia.
We use a special selection which you will sometimes see referred to as Crema d’Orcia Select for some of our textures (Bamboo, Raw, Chevron and Romboo). This is because the consistency of the Select version lends itself more readily to the workmanship required to produce these textures.
However, in terms of colour, when combined with the honed Crema d’Orcia, the overall result is homogeneous.
The images shown on this page are indicative of the colour and characteristics of our products but cannot be 100% representative. Being made from natural materials, every tile or slab is unique in terms of tonality, colour and characteristic. These are all subject to variation depending on the type of stone and the conditions in the quarry from where it comes.

Product description
A creamy coloured limestone exclusive to Salvatori, Crema d’Orcia’s bright hues convey a sensation of unexpected softness. The choice of Crema d’Orcia grants an elevated sense of warmth to both indoor and outdoor projects. Each piece of stone features a slightly different textural expression, so you will often see small holes, the occasional shell-shaped fossil and tiny lines of pink quartz. These are not defects, but instead, are part of the layers of history of each block of Crema d’Orcia. Crema d’Orcia was the stone of choice for renowned architect Kengo Kuma who used it for his first ever product line, Ishiburo, which he created for us in 2013. It was also selected for prestigious projects such as the Armani Hotel in Dubai and New York’s Olympic tower. It is available in honed, together with our, Lithoverde®, Dune, Ishiburo, Cuscini, CNC, Stone Parquet and Infinito textures.
